haha I think working at Nokia Care Centre can be one of the most stressful part-time jobs lol. Ok la "part-time" makes it sound as if I work only a few hours which is not the case haha. Rather I should call it "full-time but on contract". Working hours are 11-8 on Mondays to Saturday and 11-5 on Sundays but so far we always leave like one plus hour after the place is supposed to close because that time actually refers to the time the shutter comes down. can't expect them to chase the people out right. lol. =) so basically there's like around 10 hours of work each day, at least.

don't think I hate my job, because I don't. haha. ok still relatively early hopefully not! My colleagues are a really nice bunch of people. You really get to meet all kinds of funny people every day. some people one year warranty finish already, need to pay, also make a lot of noise. haha as if they expect 5 year warranty. there was one China man a few days ago who sent in his N73 for servicing just BECAUSE his phone's snooze light wasn't working. lol another guy sent in his phone. say got SOME SCRATCHES. lol some more is not those cheap cheap phone leh I think was 6500-s or something like that. I see I got a shock. look like just buy the day before like that. lol some people really have a lot of free time. =)

wa that time scary I more confident in doing servicing ma but the computer queueing system thing was accidentally on collection then I thought service I go click to call the customer to come. In the end the person bring the form to me then I panic lol coz I not sure of the collection procedure. Two times that happened in fact. quite a lot of things to do also leh collection especially if the person not under warranty. Need to collect the phone, write down, chop sign scan and do some funny stuff on the computer which I'm not sure of lol. In the end had to ask someone help me do. paiseh sia.

then ahh today got one China man come with his wife. wa he keep insisting and insisting that his battery is not authentic. normally all Nokia batteries will come with this hologram sticker and you're supposed to look at it from all four directions and see 1, 2 ,3 and 4 dots respectively. Then also there is this hidden number just beside the hologram. It's printed under some black tape you need to scratch off the black label to see it. Before today I really didn't know got such a number there who the hell would think there is a number underneath la LOL. so basically our dear China man friend went to read up his Nokia manual and it told him to sms the secret number to some international Nokia number and it will give him a reply whether his battery is authentic. then he say they sms him back say what battery code error or dunno what then insist we change for him. crazy guy. haha even if battery given to him is fake one also is the shop's fault what. the shop where he bought from I mean.

got another lady come then say her phone will auto press buttons 5 and 6 during calls sometimes. Then she go call the Singtel 1626 in front of me to show me some more put on loudspeaker lol but call a few times the problem still haven't appear. Then while waiting for her to show me I already finish typing in all her details, phone details, fault reported etc and about to scan in her warranty card lol. I said to her, "ma'am if they need to upgrade the software, all the data in the phone will be lost, but we will return you your SIM card." her phone didn't come with a memory card because it's quite a cheap model-- 5070 I think. So she was like "I want to keep my photos inside, my baby's photos." So I was like "erm ma'am your phone doesn't come with a memory card so I cannot transfer the photos for you. Maybe you would like to come back another day? you probably need to transfer the photos via infrared to your husband's phone." so ok end up I type all her stuff in for nothing. so she left. THAT'S NOT ALL though.

after I finish the next customer she came back with her husband I was like thinking 'wth I just now type everything finish then she don't want do now she come back must retype everything'. so ok I re-typed everything and since she say she don't want upgrade software I typed that in. Then PRINT OUT THE FORM ALREADY (which also means a job is created and must be accounted for, cannot just throw away the paper if want to cancel because the record will still be in the system) she come and tell me "actually ah my phone also will hang sometimes." I was like thinking 'wa this woman playing with me lol i type in everything alr some more ask her anything else to add she say no'. Then I was quite unhappy my tone change slightly alr "sorry ma'am that problem cannot don't upgrade software." but I was like half hoping she would just forget about servicing that problem if not I must add into the system and change quite a lot of things. Then se and her husband was like discussing, discussing, discussing then FINALLY they decide what? COME BACK ANOTHER DAY AFTER THEY TRANSFER ALL THE DATA. what a move lol. In the end I need to find some senior to void off the thing. nice bitch waste my time. sorry I don't normally call people that this time cannot don't lol.

Anyway, I really don't hate my job, just in case I sounded like I do. LOL. New Year is coming soon! Pineapple tarts yum yum! haha it's my favourite public holiday of all in the year, though all of them actually special in their own way la because they will evoke different emotions in me. For example Christmas I will feel happy just listening to all those Christmas songs then there is this light-hearted mood in the air. Then New Year's Day (the first day of the year that one) I will feel a lot of things can't really describe maybe just a lot of expectation and hope about the coming year. Then Chinese New Year best! got lots of New Year goodies, sometimes mahjong as well as of course the ANGBAOS! haha. and everything is so REDDDD. I feel happy when I see the red colours on the red packets. I like those that are really red rather than those orange and sometimes pink ones lol. BUT OF COURSE ALL ARE WELCOME! =D hahaha.

what a long post lol too long never blog maybe all the stuff kept inside one shot let go LOL. and I wanna mahjong! it's been a while now since the climbing chalet haha.

woohooo I don't know if it's blogging season or is it I too long never blog hop lol coz I suddenly come back from Bangkok then so many interesting entries of others to read haha. make me feel like blogging too. =D I just realise how long I never online already! my com at home really really cannot make it. The com is really good but the internet connection is really lousy = GG. yesterday I try to load one Yahoo page take 5 minutes LOL. go internet cafe use also better la. lucky I at Bel house now his com so nice to use keyboard also so nice to type hahaha.

past few days take a lot of bus. Go job training with Bel at Bendemeer Road lol I realise I have been counting the number of bus stops just of that few cents diff LOL. At last, I am enlightened. There is no running away from the adult fare so haha the best way is to accept it and be happy everyday LOL. No wonder adults spend so much money!

I start work officially tomorrow! Nokia Care Centre. haha. the person say "if you can survive at Nokia Care Centre you can work anywhere." LOL. hope I don't get difficult customers! =D

quite sad I missed the later part of the chalet that night coz had to leave for Bangkok haha I heard they played polar bear. It'd be so interesting to see them play lol I can't imagine Choonwei and Elmo playing mind games! Ee lin also. Surely can lie! hahaha.

Bangkok is all about shopping and cheap food lol the seven-storey shopping centre Mah Boon Khong I walk until dinner time only walk 4 floors. STEAM ah. really can get lost one. They have shops in grid style as in like shops placed in chessboard style. cannot walk finish all the shops one. will forget which lane you walked before haha. I bought a Ronaldo Jersey! Shiokadoo. =D

Things learnt to do/not to do in Thailand:

DON'T:
-Don't say you're from Singapore. They might quote a higher price!
-Don't take taxis or Tuk-tuk's that don't run by the meter. The quoted price is way high, especially if you are tourist and they see that you don't know the way. It's to cover their costs in the traffic jams. The meter jumps only like 2 baht each time and way not worth them to waste their time in the jam lol so better to pick up new passenger.

DO:
-Say everything is expensive and don't look too interested even if you are thinking in your mind "wa cheap like hell." LOL. =D
-Have a good walkie-talkie! a really good one is a good investment haha. the one we were using really quite sucked lol can't really hear clearly.

let's see. 2007 has been a wonderful year, although maybe not in the fun aspect. haha. studying studying studying blah blah. I guess we grow and develop more as the circumstances become tougher. surprisingly December pass damn fast leh. I wonder whether its because everyday too many things to do or is it everyday nothing to do lol. It seemed only a week ago that we just got back from Chiang Mai.

Studying for the big A Levels was quite... WAH. hectic lifestyle. but the late dinners at 85 and simpang made life more interesting. haha. I just thought of something quite amazing: we have been studying for the past TWELVE years! lol. two-thirds of our life. LOL.

Starting work next year.. doing customer service for Nokia.. haha phone spoil can come find me. hopefully it'll be fun. earn own money, spend own money.. lol.. but parents not going to give allowance already. sad case. haha. think I going to pay own bills too la. but worse thing: ADULT FARE! lol STEAMMMMMM...!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! hopefully next year will be a wonderful climbing year and army year. =D no new year resolutions at the moment haha. what a random post!
