Boulderactive
Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 || Time: 3:46 PM
Boulderactive was a blast! I had a great time watching all the sick climbers climb all the sick routes lol I had a kind of strong urge to try out the routes as well haha. This year quite special, got 6 routes for finalists... instead of the usual 4. Kind of crazy actually... lol the route-setters never really take into account how tired it will be for the climbers towards the last few routes.. but still nevertheless, some people still seem to have endless strength even at the last wall. My favourite wall was the Tsunami Wall.. I think it looks quite cool.. haha. I'd love to try out a route on that type of wall if I could, someday.

Some of the people whom I expected to qualify or win did not whereas some of those whom I did not expect to be inside the finals actually did quite well. Oh well, it only taught me that one does not remain a good climber without constant training and effort. haha. Congratulations to Joel and Yuxin for winning! Have fun at the Intermediate Category at Rockmasters.. haha. :D
OH YES BEATRICE IS DAMN IMBA ESPECIALLY THE WAY SHE PSYCHES HERSELF UP BEFORE CLIMBING DAMN SCARY LOL.

16 days to Army! lol that is really fast I did not realise it honestly haha I still thought long time lol. Few things to get actually... let me see, maybe a non-camera phone.. or I'll probably look around the house for my 8250. Black specs would be needed too I guess. hmm..

It's going to be a LONG month of April... :)

The Leap Years
Date: Monday, March 17, 2008 || Time: 3:40 PM
It has been raining and raining for the past few days and everytime I am walking home from the bus stop to my home I will see a lot of snails, big and small. And often, I will stop for a few minutes to look at them because they are just so cute. Sometimes I will see some of them trying to move very very slowly across the middle of a footpath and I will have this urge to just pick them up and transport them over otherwise they may get crushed by the oncoming passers-by lol. However I never once did. I hope none of them died. haha. A few times I couldn't resist but bend down and touch their eyes then see them shrink inside with fear. what a sadist.

Rongjun and Darren came to find me at work today haha I was pleasantly surprised. :) lol. Rongjun still went to call me halfway during a conversation with one of my customers. At first I felt a call then checked and saw that it was Rongjun but at that time I didn't know they were in the centre lol so I just hung up first then after a minute or so later I thought about it then found it strange why he suddenly call me out of the blue like that then I looked to the corner of the room and there they were with their cheeky expressions hahaha. Sorry ah Darren and Rongjun couldn't talk much, lol see you guys soon! =D

Dad's birthday today! Had dinner at this restaurant at the basement of Paradiz Centre it's called Tao's and the dinner style is like a 7-course set meal consisting of starters, salad, soup, sorbet, main course, dessert and beverage haha. The pork ribs I had were really yummy! can compare with Cafe Cartel one... haha although I only ate the one at Cartel once before I still have a rather good impression. Their iced teas were very light and refreshing too. And the service was really quite good.. as you enter the restaurant one person will initiate a greeting then all the waiters/waitresses will greet together lol makes you feel really welcomed. The manager was quite nice to give my dad a complimentary teapot as a gift too haha.

After that we all went to Plaza Singapura to catch The Leap Years! what a small world, on the way there I bumped into the whole bunch of scouts.. they probably just finished dinner or something. It's been a really long time since I met most of them.. jiunhoe junkwang rongfeng weikian kenghao dexter yize yuquan and I can't rmb who else but it was really nice to see them. :) AND THE MOVIE WAS NICE! I loved it.. think it's one of the better local productions compared with 881, Home Run and I Not Stupid etc.. and there was this one phrase from the movie that got me thinking for a while.. it went something like this:

'Coincidence is one of God's ways of remaining anonymous'
hmmm... lol. I'm on this 10-day work streak and tomorrow will be into day 7 it's getting a little taxing coz of the late nights sometimes but I'm glad I have wonderful colleagues that make life at work interesting and funny regardless of how unreasonable the customers may be so I am thankful. :)

I'M AFRAID!

okay most of us are I guess.

BUT.

I'm REALLY afraid.

haha. past few days I keep looking at all the career guide and university brochures and stuff then keep thinking and thinking and thinking about what line/course to go into but until now still haven't make any decision. WHY? partly coz I scared decide already then results come out not good enough to qualify I will feel like a rotten egg lol. ok also partly coz I'm undecisive at times. maybe most of the times haha. but I also know that if I didn't look through at least, after the results come out it'll probably be a different mood. hmmm.. Like what Chicken said, WE SHALL PRAY...

Chicken ahh chicken please give some chance tomorrow during the mahjong game it'll be nice if you could leave me some money to buy dinner ok no need leave me money for transport coz I know at my house but still you know, erm.. ya lo. =D

today at work, I was trying to take out the hard plastic cover of someone's N82. The cover was really really hard to take out trust me even after I asked if she could help me take out she also couldn't. By the way the cover looks really solid but also it's very fragile and can break easily as the joints are very small. Anyway, I was trying to be as delicate as possible. After a few minutes or so she told me "it's ok if you break it it's very cheap only two dollars." Wa after she said this the very next moment I applied slightly more strength and the corner joint broke off I felt damn bad. Then she kept saying it's ok it's ok but I still felt bad. :(

that day I tried cycling past Bedok Camp and I realised after so many years of living near the camp actually how big it really is lol. The buildings inside also all look quite new reminded me of AHS actually. I cycled all the way through and ended up at East Coast Park and stopped for a few minutes to look at the sea and the people fishing at the jetty. I realise that whenever I look at the sea I'll feel relaxed. like as if the sea has some kind of calming effect. haha I've always held a great deal of respect for the sea.. like how it can be so gentle at times and yet so destructive at others. =D

oh well. let's all PRAY.
