what a year 2010 has been! one of the most eventful so far I guess.
Let's see..
1. I finally ORD-ed after serving the nation for 22 months.
2. I slacked for like 2 months after I ORD-ed to enjoy the post-ORD feeling and CNY etc.
3. I took up a part-time job at Marina Bay Sands where I got to enjoy hotel food everyday and even got to catch a glimpse of the inside of the casino! :)
4. I applied for Monash University after a long thinking process. I got in, and even booked the student accomodation and air ticket to leave on the 4th of July for Melbourne.
5. 13th May 2010: NTU sent me an email asking me to go down for an interview.
20th May 2010: I went down to NTU for the interview.
26th May 2010: NTU sent me the offer letter.
6. That was the turning point. I cancelled the flight, accomodation and sent a withdrawal letter to Monash, and accepted NTU's offer.
7. I went to Kbox/ Tio Heng for the first time! with the climbers :) and we've been addicted since then. HAHA.
8. Attended Hall Camp and Engine Camp. something new, I suppose.. as compared to previous camps in secondary school. lol.
9. Began my first semester at uni! one mega bullet train ride I tell you.
10. Had exams on my birthday for the first time in my life. Spent the whole birthday studying in hall! but it was heartwarming to receive so many well wishes from everyone. my family also came to meet me for dinner at New York New York. :) thank you all!
I was hoping we could all climb together again like how we used to.. but I guess it's not that easy. Well, its okay, to think on the bright side, at least climbing helped us form this really strong and unique bond between us which I am thankful for. :)
let's hope 2011 will be better than 2010! HUAT AHHHH.
